Requirements
- Background in management consulting or corporate strategy – Experience in a top-tier consulting firm (project leader / engagement manager level or equivalent) or proven track record in a comparable role at a top tier prop trading firm. STEM background strongly preferred (Physics, Math, Econometrics or equivalent)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – Ability to synthesize complex data, generate insights, and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills – Ability to build strong relationships, collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, from senior executives to operational teams, and influence key stakeholders.
- Execution-driven mindset – Track record of delivering measurable impact through structured and results-oriented project execution.
Responsibilities
- Support identification and definition of strategic priorities in close collaboration with IMC leadership to help IMC achieve its rapid growth ambitions over the next years.
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to assess challenges, evaluate opportunities, and recommend solutions. Lead or become involved in specific projects relevant to the business and have a “seat at the table” with IMC Chicago’s leadership team.
- Work closely with leadership, business units, and cross-functional teams to align on project goals, secure buy-in, and drive execution.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and best practices to inform project execution and strategic decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial services or technology exposure (preferred) – Understanding of financial markets, technology-driven business models, or a related fast-paced industry.
