Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in calibration or a related technical field
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a wide range of precision measurement and test equipment.
- Develop, implement, and improve calibration procedures and protocols to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements, including ISO and FDA guidelines.
- Document calibration results meticulously and maintain accurate records in accordance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise and support for equipment and calibration needs.
- Lead training initiatives for junior technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices in calibration processes.
- Participate in audits and inspections, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the calibration lab.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025) and measurement principles.
- Proficiency in calibration equipment, software, and tools, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with electronic, mechanical, and optical calibration techniques.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance in the medical device sector.
