Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Must complete PTCB or NHA certification within 270 days of the hire date
- Must update OH Board of Pharmacy registration status to Certified Registered once requirements are met
- Must maintain a current PTCB or NHA certification and OH Board of Pharmacy Certified Registered Technician status throughout employment
Responsibilities
- Answering inbound phone calls from patients
- Using eMAR and dispensing software to arrange and document medication refills and shipments
- Processing insurance claims and resolving complex charging rejects
- Making outbound calls to patients and insurance companies to facilitate medication fills
