Requirements

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience in an agency or corporate setting required, preferably in a sales-driven organization, sourcing, qualifying and interviewing candidates
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • Extensive knowledge in full-cycle recruitment and candidate negotiation
  • Strong communication skills, writing skills, and organizational skills required
  • Must possess a high degree of business savvy
  • Sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, public image and company reputation

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation and execution of a best-in-class university relations strategy to advance the company’s university presence and increase the ability to attract and recruit top talent
  • Identify and recruit qualified candidates from universities for all positions within the company’s business lines, with a strong emphasis on hiring top-level sales candidates with a desire to make an impact
  • Coordinate and facilitate all logistics associated with hosting on-campus activities at target schools, including scheduling and conducting interviews, arranging information sessions and activities, presentations with key clubs and organizations, etc.
  • Build and maintain relationships with target candidates as well as business partners, including all levels of employees/partners, university officials, clubs and organizations, faculty members, department heads, etc.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of all information regarding university recruiting activities within the applicant tracking system
  • Source candidates utilizing a variety of sources including campus portals, referrals, networking, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Pre-screen all candidates using all available screening tools including resume analysis, telephone screens, reference checks, etc.
  • Note all candidate correspondence in the ATS and tactfully communicate with all applicants not hired or determined unqualified for employment
  • Work with Director of Recruiting and other hiring managers to schedule interviews and discuss suitability of candidates
  • Lead Internship Development Program, including on-boarding coordination, orientation and paperwork, summer intern activities and exit interview process
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff in a results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrate effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
  • Negotiate salaries and clearly present compensation and benefit packages to candidates during offer process
  • Must be able travel during peak recruiting seasons. Travel includes participation in networking events, info sessions, career fairs and panels during fall/spring semesters or throughout the recruiting season across multiple college campuses.
