Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- 10+ years’ experience with program management, customer management, capture, and/or business development
- Knowledge and experience of any of the following: civil and commercial space, space security, national security
- Proven ability to lead a high performing team with evidence of being able to create an inclusive work environment that attracts, retains, and inspires diverse and engaged teams
- Knowledge of customer acquisition processes
- Active TS/SAP at the time of the application
Responsibilities
- Understanding of and engagements within the customer marketplace and stakeholder customer organizations and budgets in order to identify market drivers and trends and develop strategies
- Developing capture strategy and tactics to produce capture products such as competitive assessments, teaming strategies, and prices-to-win analysis results applied to improve competitive posture
- Developing clear and concise Win Themes and Value Propositions for the capture
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and functional organizations involved in program pursuit
- Developing relationships with teaming partners and industry associations to help drive partnerships
- Coordinating and collaborating with line of business management, strategy, business and finance, contracts and global supply chain, technology and engineering offices and functions
- Development and management of investment capture project funds, schedule, and execution
- Proposal development including managing process, writing proposal responses, and developing pricing to deliver compelling and compliant proposals
- Securing RFPs, preparing proposals, negotiating and definitizing contracts
- Meeting all security, organizational conflict of interest, export control, protection of proprietary information, and risk and opportunity management processes
- Exceptional leadership and teambuilding skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with the customer, program management, business unit and supply base executives and functional management
- Willing and able to travel as required (up to 50%)
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) or Business discipline
- Self-directed leader with exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) across all levels of the organization; Proficient with executive presentations and communication
- Active SCI and/or SAP
- Experience interfacing with senior management, peers, and employees
- Aptitude to develop and execute to strategy
- Knowledge and experience of multiple mission areas within: Civilian Space, Space Security, MilSatCom, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Space Domain Awareness, or Geospatial Intelligence
- Knowledge of the acquisition processes and Customer organizations (NASA, USSF, USAF, SDA, AFRL, IC)
- Earned value management of complex multi-layer projects
- Subcontract Management experience
