Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Transformation Lead or similar role, with a strong background in implementing and optimizing Coupa procurement solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve procurement performance.
  • Extensive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, with a focus on professional services and contingent workforce.
  • Proven expertise in negotiating contracts, managing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies.
  • Proficiency with sourcing and procurement software, as well as technology platforms related to contingent workforce management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations relevant to procurement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for the professional services category, including contingent workforce, temporary staff, outsourced contractors, freelancers, and consultants.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their workforce needs, skill requirements, and project timelines.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with preferred staffing agencies, service providers, and online platforms for talent acquisition.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure favorable rates and conditions.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of suppliers, staffing agencies, and contingent workforce providers.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier performance, including talent quality, responsiveness, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular vendor reviews and provide feedback to improve service quality and address performance issues.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies for managing contingent workers.
  • Mitigate risks related to worker misclassification, co-employment, and other legal concerns.
  • Work with legal and HR departments to develop and maintain appropriate documentation and contracts for contingent personnel.
  • Partner with department managers and project leads to understand short-term and long-term workforce needs.
  • Develop accurate forecasts for contingent labor requirements across various functions and projects.
  • Align workforce planning strategies with business objectives and project timelines.
  • Analyze and manage costs associated with contingent workforce utilization.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives, such as rate negotiations, volume discounts, and process improvements.
  • Monitor budget adherence and provide insights and recommendations for cost optimization.
  • Stay updated on technology trends and solutions for contingent workforce management.
  • Evaluate and implement technology platforms and tools to streamline sourcing, onboarding, time tracking, and payment processes for contingent workers.
  • Act as a Procurement ambassador, building strong relationships and acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the procurement function, integrating it more deeply into business processes and goals.
  • Champion procurement best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement team.
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision for the procurement strategy related to professional services and contingent workforce.
  • Align procurement objectives with the broader strategic goals of the organization.
  • Provide thought leadership and drive strategic discussions to address evolving business needs and market trends.
  • Lead and manage change initiatives within the procurement function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Promote the adoption of new technologies, processes, and methodologies to achieve procurement excellence.
