Requirements
- Ability to prepare and deliver food for customers on time
- Ability to set up functions professionally and accurately
- Ability to serve customers in a friendly and respectful manner
- Knowledge of standard operating procedures for food preparation
- Ability to monitor and report deviations in food storage temperatures
- Attention to detail in food preparation
- Ability to order supplies according to department standards
Responsibilities
- Prepares and delivers food for customers, specials functions, and service areas on time
- Sets up functions professionally, accurately and in a timely manner
- Serves customers visiting the cafeteria in a friendly and respectful manner
- Delivers trays to patients, sets up trays, and unwraps food items
- Notifies nurse if patient requires additional assistance
- Prepares tube feedings according to standard operating procedure
- Monitors and reports any deviation of refrigerator or freezer temperatures to Maintenance
- Collects and records dish machine temperatures as assigned
- Completes documentation of food temperatures
- Orders needed supplies according to department standard operating procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization
