Requirements
- Doctorate degree in immunology or related field.
- Deep understanding of mechanistic immunology, with previous research in the field of antigen processing/presentation or immunopeptidomics.
- A strong grasp of protein biochemistry
- A strong background in modern molecular biology techniques.
- Excellent communicator able to write and speak about technical concepts to business, technical, and lay audiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead an effort to develop and implement new B and T cell epitope determination tools and screening platforms.
- Perform various immune assays utilizing primary human cells to validate experimental data.
- Critically analyze and interpret data.
- Explore opportunities to develop and/or deploy relevant machine learning models.
- Prospect the research space to identify additional emerging technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in sample preparation for mass spectrometry-based proteomics.
- Experience with standard immunology assays and immunophenotyping.
- Understanding of or T and B cell biology and de novo immune response mechanisms.
- A mechanistic understanding of class II antigen processing and presentation.
- Previous experience modelling T cell responses in vitro
- Previous experience working with primary human immune cells.
