Requirements
- Active Georgia certification or a state that recognizes reciprocity through the Nurse Licensure Compact Required
- Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate with proof of completion of a basic Nursing assistant course consistent with Georgia’s certification requirements or completion of a state examination including clinical requirements
- A minimum of 1 yr. of nursing care is required
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Proficiency in the use of basic Microsoft programs
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing assistant services within the CNA scope of practice to preserve the health and wellness of examinees and/or patients
- Opportunity to travel and assist on medical mobile events
- Records and maintains patient information in accordance with standard protocols, and the Privacy Act
- Thoroughly exercises skill in initiative, judgment, problem-solving and decision-making daily
- Makes independent judgments and prioritizes workload
- Demonstrates proven success in working within stressful environments
- Complies with all applicable Acuity standards and guidelines
- Responsible for medical record review and case management for medical exam and screening programs
- Works directly with medical providers and examinees to ensure all medical information is gathered
- Performs medical Quality Assurance on all charts
- Communicates with Clients as well as the on-site medical providers
- Able to work with the various software programs specific to the functioning of the exam program
- Works closely with other departments to provide accurate and quality outcomes
- Consistently learns and applies codified state and federal regulations specific to particular contract(s)
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of clinical CNA experience
- Proficiency in the use of Data Management Systems
- Experience in administering vaccines
