Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of the written exam for Certified Ophthalmic Assistant.
- Recent graduate of an Ophthalmic Technology Program (not yet COT certified).
- 1 year experience providing direct patient care under the supervision of an Ophthalmologist.
Responsibilities
- Document patient information in the patient medical record.
- Perform stocking, maintenance and other related duties as assigned, including maintaining exam rooms, equipment and supplies.
- Perform clinical and technical ophthalmic duties and basic patient care as directed by physician or supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing visual field testing, fundus photography, OCT, IOL Master, and contact lens I & R.
