Requirements

  • Active RN License – Unrestricted, issued by the Arizona Board of Nursing
  • 2+ Years of Psychiatric, Behavioral Health, or Crisis Care Experience
  • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Comfortable Working in a Crisis Environment – Strong ability to lead under pressure
  • Experience Working with Children & Adolescents in a behavioral health setting
  • Experience with EMRs and psychiatric documentation

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support night shift RNs, behavioral health staff, and other clinicians.
  • Ensure smooth overnight operations while maintaining patient safety and staff efficiency.
  • Conduct and oversee comprehensive physical and mental health assessments, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Administer and oversee medication management, ensuring compliance with facility protocols.
  • Monitor, document, and report behavioral and medical changes, escalating concerns as needed.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for clinical and operational issues during overnight shifts.
  • Manage patient flow and staff assignments to optimize care delivery.
  • Participate in treatment planning alongside the multidisciplinary clinical team.
  • Utilize verbal de-escalation and therapeutic interventions to manage high-risk situations.
  • Ensure compliance with seclusion, restraint, and SafeClinch protocols.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all patient care activities.
  • Perform lab draws and wound care as ordered.
  • Float among various clinical services within the market, as needed and where qualified.
  • Attend required supervision sessions and complete all assigned trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
