Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent in STEM field (chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, pharmaceutical science, etc)
- 1+ year of technical sales experience
- Requires general proficiency with CRM & digital selling tools
- Chromatography and/or spectroscopy knowledge and/or experience strongly desired
- Laboratory experience strongly desired
Responsibilities
- Acts as part of a sales team and supports Field Sales staff
- Routinely acts as sole sales representative for assigned territory, industry, accounts, and products
- Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities
- Focuses on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing installed base of customers
- Responsible for closing the sale on systems and products or may generate leads for Field Sales staff
- Carries team and/or individual quota
- Handle complex leads, qualified and nurture the leads to potential business opportunities
- Utilize sales experience to develop and execute a territory management plan
- Works on inside sales assignments with broadly defined objectives
- Solves non-routine issues, challenges and problems within field of specialization
