Responsibilities
- Plan and teach chess lessons to students in a group setting
- Assess students’ progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly
- Encourage students to think critically and apply chess principles to their gameplay
- Offer advanced lessons for students who are ready to take their chess skills to the next level
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
- Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!)
- Create a memorable experience for the children in your class that allows them to develop an understanding of and passion for chess
