Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, 10 years’ experience as a Transplant Coordinator in a solid Organ Transplant program, Organ Procurement Organization or Dialysis Center may be considered in substitution for Bachelor’s
- Licensure/Certifications Current NYS RN Licensure
- CCTC – Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator by the American Board for Transplant Certificates or CCTN Certified Clinical Transplant Nurse by the American Board for Transplant Certificates
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the clinical staff, including day-to-day supervision, recruitment, education and evaluation
- Develops policies, procedures and clinical protocols
- Works with the physicians in reviewing and revising care protocols to facilitate optimal care
- Responsible for implementation of initiatives set forth by the management of Transplant Services
