Requirements

  • Citrix Netscalers
  • Citrix XenDesktop
  • Windows Desktop Operating Systems
  • 10 + years of related experience
  • CompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification
  • Experience with engineering client software installation packages for deployment to Windows desktops and/or inclusion into VDI master disk images
  • Experience with Citrix XenDesktop suite to include Delivery Controller, Director, PVS, StoreFront and SQL Server
  • Experience with Citrix Netscaler(SDX, MPX, VDX) installation, configuration and management
  • Experience with load balancer platforms such as Citrix Netscaler or F5
  • Proficient with networking concepts to include VLANs, LACP, static routing, ARP and subnetting
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
  • Experience with Windows Server 2016 and 2019
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows automation scripting with PowerShell or other scripting languages
  • System configuration based on security guidelines such as DISA STIGs

Responsibilities

  • Designs and defines system architecture for Windows desktop solutions and client based applications
  • Supports the integration of the Windows desktop with a variety of enterprise services
  • Evaluates desktop software and hardware technologies and determines the most efficient method to leverage the technology within the customer’s network environment
  • Administer, operate, manage and maintain components for Windows desktop deployments to thick clients and VDI
  • Reviews completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and/or clients
  • Plans and directs upgrades of Windows desktop operating system version and supporting infrastructure and related components
