Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in network architecture and design, with at least 5 years working directly with the IC and DoD, particularly on projects requiring high-level security clearance.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing large-scale enterprise networks at the CUI, TS/SCI, and/or SAP security classifications that require compliance with strict security standards and regulations.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and advanced routing and switching concepts.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and other enterprise network hardware and software.
- Knowledge of network security protocols (IPsec, SSL, etc.) and how to apply them in mission-critical environments.
- Familiarity with network virtualization, cloud technologies, and SDN (Software-Defined Networking).
- Expertise in accreditation processes, including DIACAP, RMF, and NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with network security tools such as IDS/IPS, firewalls, and SIEM systems.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- This position requires ability to obtain and maintain all levels of security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and build enterprise-level networks supporting highly sensitive DoD and IC missions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network design aligns with security, performance, and availability requirements.
- Lead the development and implementation of secure network infrastructure supporting CUI, TS/SCI, and SAP classifications.
- Oversee and participate in the accreditation process for network systems, ensuring compliance with DoD and IC standards such as NIST SP 800-53, DIACAP, and RMF guidelines.
- Implement best practices in network security, including intrusion detection/prevention, firewalls, VPNs, and encrypted communication.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior network engineers and security personnel.
- Serve as the technical authority for network-related issues across the project lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, best practices, and security threats in network architecture.
- Work closely with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to meet and exceed technical requirements.

- Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and security teams.
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or equivalent high-level network certification.
- CompTIA Security+ or other industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications.
