Plasmidsaurus does not just provide DNA sequencing—we deliver exceptional support to the scientists who use our services daily. We ensure that they select the right service to solve their specific research questions and rapidly develop and deploy new services when our clients need them. Our Client Services team interacts with scientists around the world to ensure they get the best data, the fastest turnaround, and the highest level of support.
About the role
We are seeking a Client Services Associate to join our team. This role is perfect for recent graduates with a background in biomedical sciences, a passion for solving problems, and a commitment to helping researchers succeed. You will play a critical role in supporting customers, troubleshooting technical issues, and monitoring sequencing processes to maintain the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone, providing expert technical support for our sequencing services.
Monitor sequencing process outputs and troubleshoot inconsistencies to ensure high-quality results.
Collaborate with laboratory technicians, bioinformatics specialists, and software teams to resolve technical issues.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and support cases.
Assist with quality control checks to uphold operational standards.
Provide feedback to improve workflows, documentation, and overall customer experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
Experience in DNA sequencing, genomics, or molecular biology techniques is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and NGS data analysis is beneficial but not required.
Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM systems is a plus.
