Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Speech Language Pathology and/or a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Fully eligible for a speech and language pathology assistant’s license once 25 hours of clinical assisting experience hours are obtained and verified.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all program requirements, including attending synchronous and asynchronous lessons specific to the role of a school based SLPA
  • Maintain compliance of in person clinical assisting schedule as created by supervising SLP
  • Professional aptitude and adherence to all federal, state, local and organizational requirements.
