Requirements

• Ability to implement physician orders
• Ability to administer medications
• Ability to start IVs
• Ability to perform treatments, procedures, and special tests
• Ability to document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations
• Ability to order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
• Ability to assess and evaluate patient needs
• Ability to apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions
• Ability to provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
• Ability to collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care
• Ability to direct and guide ancillary personnel
