Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and advise/resolves concerns from field staff, clients/families, coordination, public, and funding staff
  • Initiates and tracks client and staff safety incident investigations and documents to ensure timelines are met
  • Work collaboratively with frontline team members, Clinical Supervisors, and Care and Service Managers to support clinical documentation and submission requirements according to OHAH Automated Provider Report (APR) guidelines
  • Manage the daily APR reporting and tracking processes
  • Manage APR failure reports and ensures all APR transmit to the funder in a timely manner
  • Advise and educate staff and coordination teams to rectify APR failures
  • Engage clients in problem solving using a collaborative approach, offering health teaching, building rapport and trust, achieving a mutual understanding and agreement to identify actual and potential client health care needs, strengths, capacities and goals
  • Engage staff in problem solving, offering education on practice questions, coaching and mentoring in resolution of problems
  • Document all client care and staff problem solving as per ParaMed policies
  • Respond to Not Seen Not Found (NSNF) situations in a timely fashion – following Paramed policies and working with the funder
  • Attend to all urgent clinical concerns in a timely manner
  • Attend to work injury reporting and work alongside WSIB for claims
  • Review billing suspensions and rejections to ensure visits are authorized by OHAH
  • Follow-up with staff who require further training and support in completing on time clinical documentation
  • Ability to be calm and attend to all clinical matters appropriately, using prioritization and delegation
  • Be part of a clinical on call/weekend rotation
  • Other duties as assigned
