Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and one year of applicable hospital/major medical center/major clinical information system experience OR High School Diploma/GED, one year of relevant experience and four years of healthcare IT experience OR Associate’s Degree, one year of relevant experience and two years of healthcare experience
- Experience typically supported by a license in a medically related field, such as Nursing, Pharmacy Assisting, Medical Assisting, Medical Technology or EMT
- Technical certification for certain departments
- Familiarity with the processes and procedures related to healthcare regulatory agencies
- In-depth knowledge of clinical theory and practice
Responsibilities
- Interact with end users to define problems
- Coordinate and conduct education and end user training programs to ensure systems are utilized as designed
- Assist with end user documentation development or a permanent reference for clear, concise information
- Provide implementation assistance for system projects through all phases of the system development life cycle with direction from the Lead Analyst
