Requirements
- 7+ years in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps, with demonstrated experience in senior-level technical leadership.
- Proficiency in AWS (e.g., EKS, DynamoDB, Aurora) and advanced knowledge of IaC and CI/CD tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CDK.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers, lead technical decisions, and manage complex cloud initiatives that impact multiple teams.
- Strong experience with containerized microservices and Kubernetes, with expertise in creating scalable, efficient solutions.
- Skilled in monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and CloudWatch, using data to drive decision-making.
- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards, with a history of implementing secure cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent communicator with a track record of driving cross-functional projects and aligning infrastructure strategies with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement resilient, high-performance cloud systems, guiding best practices in scalability, security, and reliability.
- Lead infrastructure-as-code efforts using Terraform and AWS CDK, setting high standards for automation, security, and resilience.
- Mentor other engineers on cloud best practices, operations, and infrastructure strategy, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enabling seamless integration and deployment processes.
- Drive metrics-based operational strategies, implementing advanced observability tools for proactive monitoring and effective incident response.
- Enforce security standards across cloud environments, with a focus on disaster recovery (DR) and high availability (HA).
- Identify and resolve complex performance and scalability issues across distributed cloud systems, implementing autoscaling and resource optimization strategies.
