Requirements
- Test Case Design
- Test Documentation
- Test Procedure Development
- 5 + years of related experience
- US Citizenship Required
- Proven CNO domain experience
- Testing of embedded software systems in one or more of the following operating system environments: Unix, Linux, VxWorks
- Experience working within teams of engineers as both a lead and a contributor
- Ability to develop test procedures from requirements independently
- Experience in the development of test documentation such as test plans, and test reports
- Ability to work as part of a team environment
- Working knowledge of common protocols/standards such as TCP/IP, SDH/SONET, ATM, MPLS/GMPLS, Ethernet, Carrier Grade Ethernet
Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning of technical approaches and equipment required for the testing and evaluating of new systems, products and special devices
- Prepare test and diagnostic programs
- Design test fixtures and equipment
- Complete specifications and procedures throughout the engineering development lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Automated Testing
- Script writing using Perl, Python, Bourne shell, C shell, or other proprietary scripting languages
