Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working on a team that required analytical problem-solving, commercial business development, and outcome ownership (e.g., fast-growing startup, consulting, finance, a 0 -> 1 business line at a high-performing organization)
  • Technical background and/or experience working with complex data (at minimum the role requires learning SQL and low-code tools)
  • Strong written and verbal communication that allows you to be an effective participant in both internal debates and external relationships
  • Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goals
  • High NPS with your former teammates

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in both Tandem’s full surface area and the surrounding industry landscapes
  • Deeply understand the strategy, goals, and needs of our customers to ensure that we know how to drive value for them
  • Identify, engage, and convert new life sciences partnerships, establishing Tandem as a critical strategic partner and owning the end-to-end sales cycle
  • Own relationships with biopharma customers, supporting implementation, presenting on performance and new capabilities, and ensuring overall success
  • Explore, evaluate, and execute on new opportunities for the company, including strategic partnerships and new products and services
  • Work closely with the rest of our team and CEO to make business decisions as we balance speed of growth and long-term profitability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-growing startup, consulting, finance, or a 0 -> 1 business line at a high-performing organization is preferred
  • Experience with complex data and technical tools is preferred
