Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in commodity management, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in electronics, packaging, or logistics.
  • Strong understanding of electronic component supply chains, packaging materials, and 3PL logistics operations.
  • Experience in NPI sourcing, supplier qualification, and mass production transitions.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with strong collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of global supply chain regulations, tariffs, and trade compliance is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for electronic components, packaging, and 3PL logistics.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to support NPI and production scaling.
  • Drive cost savings and risk mitigation through supplier negotiations and contract management.
  • Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery reliability to align with business needs.
  • Conduct supplier audits and capability assessments for compliance.
  • Collaborate with teams to source components and packaging for NPI projects.
  • Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and mass production ramp-ups.
  • Manage supplier capacity planning to align with production forecasts.
  • Optimize logistics and 3PL strategies for cost efficiency and on-time delivery.
  • Improve global supply chain flow and distribution network performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with contract manufacturers, EMS providers, and distribution partners.
  • Familiarity with commodity cost trends, supply risk assessment, and supplier development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of logistics optimization and carrier negotiations for global supply chains.
