Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with engineering in integration of aircraft weapons, communications, or sensor systems
- Experience with DoD acquisition processes, requirements development, and technology transition or insertion planning
- Ability to work independently and support an integrated product team
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Systems Engineering
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in evaluating new technologies, performing risk assessments, and improving the design of aerospace systems
- Orchestrate the development of CNI systems through the full life cycle, from requirements determination through operations
- Contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and designing leading-edge aerospace technology for the F-35
- Work with a community of engineers across the firm and collaborate with clients to deliver world-class solutions for F-35 systems
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a professional work environment
- Experience with 4th or 5th Generation U.S. tactical aircraft
- Knowledge of Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent organizational skills
- Top Secret clearance
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Systems Engineering
