Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience with TikTok, Meta (Instagram and Facebook), YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, etc.
  • Proficiency with social media management and analytical tools including Sprout Social and Meltwater
  • Must have a university degree, or college diploma, in a relevant field such as marketing, business, public relations, communications, and/or have equivalent work experience.
  • Must have professionally managed Social Media for brands
  • Must be an expert creating content and building a community on social media platforms
  • Proven experience growing brands on social media through strategic community management

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and coordinate approval of the always-on organic content calendar by social platform on a quarterly and/or monthly basis; includes creation of social media copy and briefing in creative teams based on program strategy, social media & audience insights
  • Provide strategic and thoughtful direction for posting across social platforms – including: TikTok, Meta (Instagram and Facebook), X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Discord, Reddit, etc. for a variety of Viral Nation social media clients
  • Monthly and quarterly social media reporting, providing insights and implications about content performance, consumer audience/ behaviours on social, competitor insights
  • Provide best in class industry examples which further help drive brand social media strategy and increase engagement
  • Act as a Social Media expert at Viral Nation, keeping the team up-to-date with changes in the ecosystem, current best practices, and trends
