Requirements
- Operational and organizational skills
- Project management and production experience
- Experience with social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube)
- Experience with Adobe software, iPhone and camera equipment, CapCut, Airtable, and Google Suite
- 3+ years of experience in digital news, video production, or content creation
- Strong editorial judgment
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, CapCut, Airtable, and Google Suite
- Hands-on experience with social-first content production
- Strong project management skills
- Experience managing field shoots and conducting interviews
- Ability to extrapolate trends and insights from cultural moments
- Deep understanding of Complex’s brand, voice, and audience
Responsibilities
- Oversee the production of news-related content from concept to delivery
- Help implement a content strategy that aligns with the relaunch objectives
- Work with hosts, guests, and creators to shape compelling on-screen storytelling
- Ensure content aligns with Complex’s voice and maintain authenticity
- Stay ahead of cultural and digital media trends to keep Complex News relevant
