Requirements
- Proficient in the use of computers for data analysis
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
- 1-3 years experience in a construction materials laboratory or similar settings
- Experience working with a variety of supplementary cementitious materials
Responsibilities
- Carry out physical and chemical testing of cement and cementing materials
- Proportion and test concrete in laboratory and field settings
- Collect samples
- Conduct physical, chemical, and mechanical property tests
- Analyze data and prepare reports
- Collaborate with other technicians for material, process, and product testing
- Support the technology team in the development of new products and processes
- Travel overnight 10% of the time for field support
Preferred Qualifications
- ACI Concrete Laboratory Certification Level 2 is preferred
