Travel Partnerships and Media helps partners, including hotels, airlines, destination marketing organizations (DMOs) and more, deliver excellent travelerand B2B experiences. We drive growth for our partners and the Expedia Group marketplace through competitive supply, our leading advertising and travel media network and affiliate solutions.
In this role, you will:
In collaboration with Technical Relationship Managers, you will manage the day to day relationship of our Partner Growth Long-Tail Lodging Connectivity Providers and positively influence relationships across all partner touchpoints to support Expedia Group goals. Example of systems offered by Connectivity Providers and integrated with Expedia Group are: Property Management Systems, Central Reservation Systems and Channel Management Systems.
Negotiate and structure partnership contracts/agreements.
Influence Connectivity Providers to implement connectivity features that align with business objectives and deliver clear business benefits.
Understand, negotiate, and implement creative connectivity initiatives within your account base.
Play a critical role in partner-facing support and consulting.
Communicate complex functional details to technical and non-technical audiences.
Evangelize and continuously work on improving the benefits of Expedia Group Connectivity Partner Program to attract and develop partners.
Conduct cross functional Quarterly Business Reviews with selected partners. Coordinate with different internal teams to present analysis and key takeaways which can guide partners on how to improve their overall performance.
Represent the team in cross functional initiatives and collaborate with product/Tech team, marketing team and other internal teams to help create and communicate value proposition for new products and features.
Experience and qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in Account Management, tech solution selling, or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to lead on-going business relationships.
Experience with hotel systems including Global Distribution Systems, Central Reservation Systems, Property Management Systems, Channel Managers and Revenue Management Systems desired.
A strong client focus and a capacity to bring partners to an efficient collaboration stage.
Strong technical understanding.
Strong organization and coordination skills.
Comfort in working with all levels/departments.
Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills, creativity, and a drive for results.
A bachelor’s degree in a business and/or technical discipline, or applicable work experience.
Willingness and ability to travel 10% of the time.
