Requirements
- 6 months post high school
- Four (4) years of directly related experience
- Valid and unrestricted Arizona Class D Driver License
Responsibilities
- Verifies all construction projects are compliant with Tucson Water’s specifications, standard detail requirements, follow the Safe Water Drinking Act (SWDA) and ADEQ (Arizona Department of Environmental Quality) requirements.
- Drives to various worksites to conduct daily inspections and documents the progress of construction projects. Performs quality assurance checks to ensure contractors’ work meets the required standards. Conducts pressure testing, bacteria testing, and disinfection as per local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Provides all required documentation required by state and federal regulations, including but not limited to As-Builts, ADEQ forms, pay applications, water loss reports, disinfection records, PDEQ forms, and daily reports.
- Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to schedule meetings with contractors, provides construction updates and communicating compliance requirements.
- Finalizes projects before Tucson Water assumes ownership by conducting continuity tests, density tests, valve adjustments, and ensuring all Tucson Water requirement standards are met.
- Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned.
