Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain construction site safety programs
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Monitor and enforce adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards
- Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors
- Lead investigations of accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents
- Identify potential workplace hazards and implement safety measures
- Develop and implement emergency response plans
- Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and compliance reports
- Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and site personnel to create a proactive safety culture
