Requirements
- Two to four years of experience in state regulations or Supervising Physician regulations.
- At least six months in a health-tech environment OR 2 years in a traditional healthcare environment.
- Solid understanding of contract management processes, and compliance standards.
- The ability to think logically and analytically to problem-solve on a daily basis.
- Excellent English communication and comprehension skills; written and verbal.
- In-depth knowledge of the clinical, healthcare, and telemedicine Supervising Physician standards, regulations, and privileging procedures and standards.
- Strong emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and the ability to base decision-making on your analysis of facts.
- Advanced research and google search capabilities.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills to make sound business decisions.
- Familiarity with healthcare, telehealth, and regulatory terminology.
- Professional integrity to adhere to confidentiality standards in accordance with legal, ethical, and company policies.
- Ability to recognize problems, collect data and establish facts quickly and under deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Supervising Physician contract lifecycle, including contract generation, storage, and renewal processes, ensuring efficient workflows and process optimization.
- Manage and maintain the Supervising Physician availability per state to ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Serves as primary business owner of the Supervising Physician Program, partnering with the engineering team to ensure the program is optimized for user needs and continues to develop into Helix.
- Identify opportunities, develop, and implement improvements to the contract management process and work with other stakeholders and business teams to implement these enhancements.
- Develop, analyze, and maintain reports on contract metrics (e.g., contract approval times, renewal dates) and provide insights for improving processes and minimizing risk.
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for the Supervising Physician program.
- Respond to Symplr requests/messages related to Supervising Physicians or from Supervising Physicians.
- Update Supervising/delegate agreements and processes as state requirements change.
- Stay up to date with Supervising Physician state regulations and ensure Circle Medicals documentation is up to date with changes.
- Identify where we can get delegates into full practice authority or collaborative status, and coordinate the transition.
- Interview, onboard, off-board and coordinate clinical training for new Supervising Physicians.
- Ensure Supervising Physicians are completing their monthly chart reviews.
- Approve Supervising Physician invoices after work validation.
- Manage and maintain Supervising Physician enrolment with payers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
