Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience in contract management supporting a wide range of transactional matters, preferably in procurement/supply chain
  • CLM experience required
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities with shifting time frames, and meet tight deadlines; self-starter with high degree of initiative, urgency, and follow-through
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within scope of responsibilities and with minimal supervision and to foster a positive work environment

Responsibilities

  • Review, redline and negotiate a high volume and a broad range of low to mid-level supplier contracts, including facility services agreements, master services agreements, purchase agreements, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, SAAS, software licensing or other IT-related agreements, and other various goods and services agreements
  • Thoughtfully lead and collaborate throughout the contracting and legal review processes by clearly and effectively communicating issues, escalating issues to legal, business and functional stakeholders as required, facilitating alignment with internal stakeholders and suppliers, coordinating and documenting necessary approvals, and timely driving contracts to execution
  • Independently manage assigned contracts from inception to completion
  • Assist in developing and maintaining contracting playbooks and proactively identify opportunities to enhance playbook clause library, leveraging data where possible
  • Maintain and update team SOPs, including best practices and unique business issues, as well as business-facing job aids
  • Support ongoing contracting process optimization efforts by identifying, managing and implementing solutions to improve efficiency
  • Assist in implementation of new CLM tool and support future updates, enhancements and modifications
  • Leverage CLM capabilities to establish and standardize reporting of key performance indicators and update leadership on other contract-related metrics
  • Utilize data to proactively identify contracting and process trends and to propose and implement solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify comprehensive contract pipeline
  • Train and coach internal teams on contracting processes and best practices
  • Manage projects, goals and assignments, as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing processes, identifying and implementing process improvements and project management a plus
  • Experience in healthcare or a highly regulated industry a plus
