Requirements
- Strong understanding of food safety principles in warehouse and food manufacturing operations
- HACCP Certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Project management and problem-solving skills
- 5-7 years of experience in food safety operations
- Ability to travel to multiple facilities as needed
Responsibilities
- Auditing all operations to ensure compliance with third-party audit requirements and customer food safety programs
- Providing facilities with support to ensure compliance with all FDA and customer audit requirements
- Implementing the corporate Food Safety Management System, including documentation control and adherence to all regulatory requirements set by the FDA and customers
- Coordinating with local pest control professionals to support and execute C&S Pest Control and Master Sanitation programs
- Supporting the integration and enforcement of food security requirements in alignment with FDA and customer guidelines
- Assisting the Corporate Food Safety Department and company facilities in developing food safety, biosecurity, regulatory, and quality initiatives
- Aiding in the implementation, modification, and execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs) for warehouse and manufacturing operations
