Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Intermediate Excel experience required
- Inquisitive, organized, and detail oriented to achieve the teams’ goals and deadlines
- Ability and drive to build strong relationships across the Company
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statement analyses
- Prepare ad hoc analyses to support management decision making, including proactively identifying and delivering key insights to financial performance
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly SEC filings, including preparation of supporting schedules, analyses, external documentation, and audit requests
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to special projects designed to improve processes within the Accounting and Finance organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial initiatives and provide guidance
- Ensure accounting activities are completed with the highest level of control and integrity
- Demonstrate emotional intelligence in handling potentially stressful situations, including managing competing priorities, change, tight deadlines, and conflict
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA preferred, but not required
- 2-3 years of experience; public accounting and/or a public company experience preferred
