Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge in travel management and supporting tools, metrics, and leading practices
  • Experience with Concur and Coupa software platforms required
  • Ability to understand travel data and establish business cases
  • Strong management, marketing, and analytical skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant, progressive work experience required
  • 5 or more years of progressively challenging professional experience in travel program management

Responsibilities

  • Manage all spend and policy related to corporate travel, meetings, and events for Goosehead Insurance Agency
  • Work with key stakeholders to create, update, and maintain travel policies
  • Assist in sourcing travel suppliers and managing meetings and events
  • Ensure compliance with travel and expense policies and requirements
  • Establish and promote the vision and mission for the Goosehead Travel category
  • Influence policy and standards for Goosehead’s travel spend
  • Consistently improve technology and processes related to travel and expense systems
  • Act as the primary contact with corporate travel agencies and other travel-related suppliers
  • Achieve cost reduction targets and develop new cost reduction strategies
  • Establish a communication strategy to manage demand/spend and educate employees on cost avoidance
  • Provide end-user support to internal customers and prepare ad hoc analyses as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field strongly preferred
