Requirements
- Experience in HVAC and Fire Protection construction preferred
- Good communications and analytical skills
- Proficient working knowledge of RS Means or similar Construction Cost Estimating software
- Demonstrable experience in ability to navigate through all sections of cost estimating software
- Working knowledge in MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated experience in meeting schedule deadlines
- Associate’s degree in related field and five (5) years of construction estimating job-related experience or equivalent
- Good communications and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs
Responsibilities
- Perform Construction Cost Estimating activities in support of industrial base operations and maintenance of facilities infrastructure
- Complete full quantity take-offs to support accurate estimates for all disciplines in industrial projects
- Provide solid critical-thinking, analytical and communication skills in support of Project objectives
- Maintain close attention to detail and manage time and meet aggressive deadlines
- Exhibit proficiency in utilization of RS Means Estimating software
- Ensure assigned projects are completed on time, and within approved scope and budget
- Establish and maintain a filing system or databases as needed for tracking project status
- Develop, maintain, and produce documentation in support ROM and Task Plan efforts
- Interface with customers to comply with scope and schedule requirements
- Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested
