Requirements
- Associate’s Degree Required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
- Minimum 6 years graphic design experience. B2B experience preferred.
- Proven experience leading visual and design aspects of a brand, including conception, production, photo/video shoot management, outside supplier management, file/revision maintenance, prepress preparation and quality control.
- Expert level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-pace environment, often switching from digital design to print as required.
- Ability to operate autonomously when necessary, has a sense of ownership over the work, is self-motivated, and strives for design excellence.
- Skilled at brainstorming and collaborating with a creative team.
- Adept at implementing designs and publishing them across multiple, emerging communication vehicles as listed above.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the key in house design and production resource for fulfilling creative services needs and requests.
- Direct all projects, interpreting the corporate style guide and ensuring adherence to it across all communication touchpoints.
- Work across departments to discern an understanding of marketing objectives and translate those into creative results that evoke the required emotion/action from the target audience.
- Weigh customer/prospect need against contemporary design tools, looks, practices and standards to reach the best fit solution to design challenges.
- Practice constant improvement by developing efficient workflows, recommending and implementing project management tools, organizing file revision/maintenance and helping to prioritize workload for maximum benefit.
- Lead all aspects of digital asset management as the librarian for projects and related assets within our Aprimo Digital Asset Management system.
- Help build a team of preferred outside resources to support overflow work and projects that exceed internal capacity.
- Evaluate all customer touchpoints to improve the overall user experience where applicable, including look/feel, function, interfaces, website flow, and more to critique areas that can be improved.
- Conceive, develop, design and implement strong and compelling designs across all customer communications and touchpoints.
