Requirements
- 2 years of experience in business-related secretarial duties.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficient in learning and using scheduling software.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with artists, faculty, and directors to meet their creative and technical needs.
- Develop and implement structured training programs for new student technicians.
- Mentor students on professionalism, reliability, and effective communication in a production environment.
- Ensure students understand proper safety protocols and technical standards.
- Create and manage production schedules, including crew assignments and call times.
- Collaborate with faculty and artistic directors to maintain accurate production timelines.
- Organize and lead production meetings to confirm all logistical and technical details.
- Assist in maintaining a master calendar of performances, rehearsals, and production needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Provide hands-on support with stage transitions, instrument strikes, and equipment adjustments.
- Ensure clear communication between technical and front-of-house teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree.
- Proficient in Excel or equivalent programs.
- Existing knowledge of performance venue equipment, practices, personnel needs, and terminology.
