Requirements
- 5+ years in the private sector, or 3+ years in the public sector with 2+ years in the private sector, proven experience in crisis management and business continuity.
- Strong knowledge of operational risk frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Demonstrated experience in leading in a crisis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and and implementation of a crisis management framework to support operational resilience framework to identify, assess, and manage risks that could potentially disrupt business operations.
- Collaborate with business units to assess their operational resilience requirements and define strategies to enhance resilience.
- Lead the design and support the implementation of business continuity plans, disaster recovery procedures, and crisis management protocols.
- Establish metrics to measure and monitor the effectiveness of operational resilience initiatives.
- Develop and deliver crisis management tabletops, notification testing, simulations, and drills to evaluate the effectiveness of operational crisis management plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective response to disruptive events.
- Prepare and present reports on operational crisis management initiatives, progress, and share results with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, risk management, or a related field.
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
- Proficiency with Fusion Risk Management
