Requirements
- Security+ or higher DoD 8570 certification.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI Security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple server stacks, virtual machines, storage area network devices, and cross domain appliances simultaneously at a field site.
- Perform user account creation and maintenance in line with program policies and procedures.
- Perform system installation tasks to include system patching, software updates, full system installations, and full system backup and recovery.
- Directly participate in local system Accreditation events, Site Based Security Assessments (SBSA), and regular system security audits.
- Coordinate with local facility and unit support elements to ensure the program is properly informed regarding network and datacenter status and availability at the field site.
- Maintain and sustain multiple web applications in line with Army and domain policy across multiple networks.
- Monitor cross domain system processes and provide status and usage reports as required utilizing multiple monitoring tools and methods.
- Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical issues for field site hardware, software, networks, and processes.
- Establish and ensure proper connectivity and data flow functionality of cross domain systems/processes and associated mission partner and user environments.
- Directly contribute and participate in cross domain process improvements and recommendations based on customer and mission partner requests and feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- Military experience with a diverse range of Linux based Military Intelligence systems across multiple networks and domains.
- Prior Military Communication Career Fields – example U.S. Army MOS 35T Military Intelligence Systems Maintainer/Integrator.
- Experience with Linux system maintenance and automation methods (BASH scripting, Python, Ansible).
- Experience with Structured data standards and validation methods for Intelligence data (XML, KML, Imagery and FMV Metadata).
- Experience maintaining VMWare virtualization environments.
