Requirements
- Associate’s Degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration – ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
- CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) – ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excludes team members hired prior to 2008. 1 Year required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
Responsibilities
- Provides coordination of technical and support personnel involved with the acquisition and processing of CT exams
- Assigns and monitors the work of CT technologists to optimize quality and efficiency
- Oversees the compliance of policies/procedures to ensure departmental standards are met
- Performs clinical instruction as requested
- Always follows Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care
