Responsibilities
- Review and process incoming life insurance claims for the Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) and The State of Michigan while handling calls in the phone queue.
- Provide customer service for Evidence of Insurability applications.
- Monitor customer service standard results by meeting or exceeding client expectations and established performance standards, including phone queue metrics.
- Communicate with insured customers, clients, and the Home Office to resolve customer inquiries and concerns regarding product and administrative procedures, primarily through phone calls.
- Maintain records of claims for reporting.
- Provide customer service regarding conversion questions, including rates, premiums, and eligibility.
