Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • + 4 years of relevant Customer Service Management experience
  • Mechanical aptitude with product and Water/utility industry knowledge preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in a team /collaborative environment
  • Ability to train others
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Interpersonal skills
  • High Attention to detail and a desire for continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Must have thorough knowledge of customer service procedures and functions.
  • Effectively supervise people to achieve the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Ensure orders and quotes are being scheduled and completed timely.
  • Review and approve quotes per the company delegation of authority.
  • Align both the quotes and inside sales teams on pricing strategies and other customer initiatives.
  • Direct all procedures regarding order entry and quotations.
  • Prioritizing work is a key essential for the job.
  • Maintain proper electronic or manual customer files, pricing and quotations.
  • Interact effectively and professionally with customers, internal support, salespeople and others within the organization.
  • Coordinate customer service and product training to Quotes and Inside Sales team members.
  • Assist as needed on price books and marketing projects.
  • Implement process improvements in department to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Assist outside sales team with specification work and improvement of quotation win rates.
  • Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities.
  • Other ad-hoc duties and analyses as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
