Requirements
- Ability to acquire and maintain Property and Casualty (P&C) Producer’s license in Shelter’s operating territory (paid for by Shelter)
- Excellent listening, communication, and organizational skills as well as strong computer skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating problem-solving skills
- Ability to take the lead and guide our customers to a resolution
- Detailed individual with flexibility to handle frequent changes
- Demonstrate timely, consistent job attendance history with the availability to work some nights, weekends and holidays
- Be able to work beginning June 2 from our Henderson, NV call center
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls from policyholders, claimants, and other consumer contacts
- Report of policyholder claims, processing premium payments, providing insurance quote and processing policy changes, assisting with customer website support, and answering general inquiries
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer service experience, processes, and communication as needed
