Customs & Foreign Trade Specialist

Bachelor’s degree in international business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in customs compliance and international trade.
In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, import/export laws, and trade compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using trade management software and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and international trade laws.
Prepare and submit necessary documentation for import and export activities.
Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other third-party logistics providers.
Monitor and manage the classification of goods according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).
Conduct audits and assessments of import/export activities to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
Stay updated on changes in trade regulations and implement necessary adjustments to company policies and procedures.
Provide guidance and training to internal teams on customs and trade compliance matters.
Resolve any issues related to customs clearance and international shipments.
Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and procurement teams to optimize international trade operations.

Certification in customs compliance (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist) is a plus.
