Cyber Data Specialist

5 years of experience with a BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or a related technology field; or 3 years of relevant experience with an MS Degree; 5 years of additional experience performing lifecycle data management work may be substituted in lieu of a degree, for a total of 10 years of relevant experience without a degree.
Experience working in the intelligence community, with a proven track record in lifecycle data management or a similar field.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with colleagues of varying technical expertise.
Must have an active TS/SCI with relevant polygraph.

Serve as a technical resource and support the team in managing the full lifecycle of digital media data—from receipt and triage to preparation and transmission to media exploitation tools and repositories.
Use a variety of tools and software to process and manage media with different filesystems and operating systems, ensuring seamless data transfer and analysis.
Follow both automated and manual technical processes to ensure every byte of information is captured and exploited for use in downstream tools.
Collaborate closely with team members, bringing innovation to improve manual processes and streamline workflows.

Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell to automate and improve processes.
Strong working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with FTK (Forensic Toolkit) or similar media exploitation tools.
Proven ability to identify and implement solutions that improve existing manual processes.
