Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity
- Experience evaluating programs and developing Information Assurance (IA) standards to ensure compliance with minimum security requirements
- Experience with security requirements for RHEL-based systems, including system hardening and configuration management.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and risk analysis to identify, assess, and mitigate potential threats
- Experience maintaining System Security Plans (SSPs) using Xacta
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Associates degree
- DoD 8570-Compliant IAT Level II or III Certification, such as Security+ Certification
Responsibilities
- Work with engineers to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan.
- Review technical, environmental, and personnel details from engineers to assess the entire threat landscape.
- Guide clients through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones.
- Translate security concepts for clients to help them make informed decisions about securing their critical infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of NIST special publications
- Knowledge of DoD Information Assurance practices and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree
