Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with JPP, JOPES, and APEX planning formats
- 5+ years of experience as a planner
- Experience leading or materially contributing to the design, planning, organization, and execution of Combatant Command or Service-Component level Command Post Exercises, Staff Exercises, or Field Training Exercises
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of plans and procedures for clients
- Create rich content using JPP, JOPES, and APEX to help tell a realistic story
- Listen to client challenges and identify threats, gaps, or risks that need to be explored
- Provide a space for recommendations that will make lasting, real-world impact
- Work cross-functionally with cybersecurity on projects
- Share expertise and collaborate with trainers and coaches through custom ‘Train the Trainer’ programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience briefing and delivering training to senior military and civilian leaders
- Experience with exercise planning at the Service Component or Combatant Command level
- Experience with project management processes and principles
- Knowledge of the Joint Training Program (JTP) and JELC doctrine and processes
- Advanced Service Planner Certification, including SAMS, SAASS, or JAWS Certification
